UPDATED ST. PATRICKS DAY BREAK -
St. Patrick’s Green Party Weekend: We will be having a green day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday 13th March and the children are invited to dress in green outfits.  The Nursery will be closed on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th March & NOW ALSO WEDNESDAY 18th MARCH TO ALLOW US TO USE ONE OF THE TWO EXTRA SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT DAYS ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

We found a woodlouse!

Despite the rain we had a very busy day and there was great excitement when a wood louse appeared at the water tray.  Once safely transported into a tray the children enjoyed observing him/her.  Creating close observational drawings.  There was much discussion about a name yet we didn’t know if he was a boy or a girl! Rosie or Slatey.
