UPDATED ST. PATRICKS DAY BREAK -
St. Patrick’s Green Party Weekend: We will be having a green day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday 13th March and the children are invited to dress in green outfits.  The Nursery will be closed on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th March & NOW ALSO WEDNESDAY 18th MARCH TO ALLOW US TO USE ONE OF THE TWO EXTRA SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT DAYS ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

We have had a busy week learning about the different types of animals - domestic pets, wild animals and farm animals. Developing awareness of their camouflage which is a survival mechanism involving colour, patterns or shape adaptations that allows animals to blend into their surroundings, avoid predators.  Don't forget to send in the photos of your pets at home - email conventofmercyns@outllook.com

When we return after half term the adults will be getting ready for Lent and we will be making pancakes on Pancake Tuesday - so practice your pancake flipping skills!!
