Understanding Childcare Needs of Families with Children who have Disabilities or Additional Needs

25th Feb 2025

The Northern Ireland Childminding Association (NICMA) is conducting research to understand the childcare needs of families with children who have disabilities or additional needs. The findings will be used to inform policy and service delivery.   Please complete this survey questionnaire if you are a parent or carer of a child(ren) with disabilities or additional needs aged 0-16 years.

By additional needs we mean a child that has a known delay in their development and / or you have been told your child may have health needs that is likely to impact on development and / or has a medical condition that may require additional support.

The survey is anonymous and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. After completing the survey, you can choose to enter your contact details separately for a chance to win one of 2 x £50 shopping vouchers in our prize draw (Tesco or Marks & Spencer).

Thank you for your time.
