St. Patrick’s Green Party Weekend: We will be having a green day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday 13th March and the children are invited to dress in green outfits.  The Nursery will be closed on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th March & NOW ALSO WEDNESDAY 18th MARCH TO ALLOW US TO USE ONE OF THE TWO EXTRA SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT DAYS ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Week of Celebrations for St. Patrick's Day

We celebrated in style today - as the children came to school in lots of different shades of green.  We watch and recreated Riverdance in the hall - with excellent musicians and dancers.  Then we had a party to celebrate.

We have been creating beautiful rainbows with the hope of find a pot of gold at the end, searching for shamrocks and gold in the leprechauns pond in the water tray .  We are practising River dance and made green jelly for our party on Friday.  Don't forget to look out for the different buildings lit up in green around the town as we prepare to celebrate St. Patricks Day.
