UPDATED ST. PATRICKS DAY BREAK -
St. Patrick’s Green Party Weekend: We will be having a green day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday 13th March and the children are invited to dress in green outfits.  The Nursery will be closed on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th March & NOW ALSO WEDNESDAY 18th MARCH TO ALLOW US TO USE ONE OF THE TWO EXTRA SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT DAYS ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Ice, ice, ice - Miss King

We have been exploring ice in the water tray. We have been observing it melt due to the heat of the room or our hands then added warm water or salt to discover how this speeds up the thawing process. The children have been sharing how you defrost the cars in the morning or salt the step so they don’t slip. Then we watched on You Tube the gritter lorries being filled with grit and then how they spray the roads to help keep the roads safe.
