To all Parents and Guardians, please be advised that the Convent of Mercy Nursery School will be closed tomorrow.
This decision has been made in line with the Education Authority guidance as a safety precaution due to the amber weather warning currently in effect due to Storm Chandra. Our primary responsibility is the well-being of our students and staff. Given the predicted conditions, we believe it is essential to avoid any unnecessary travel risks to and from the school site. We understand that a short-notice closure presents challenges for families, and we thank you for your patience. This step is being taken solely to ensure the safety of our entire school community. We appreciate your continued cooperation and support.

Fun in the Snow

It was so lovely to see all the boys & girls with their families returning after the Christmas Break - thank you so much for all the lovely Christmas wishes, gifts and cards we received.

We didn't get enough snow to make a snowman yet we had fun exploring and drawing in the snow - we even checked if chalk would work in the snow. Fingers crossed the weather warms up and the only snow fall is at the weekends!!!

Rory spotted some signs of winter when he went to feed the ducks at the Quoile and realised it was frozen. And also at Dunleath where he walked on the frosty grass and ice puddles.
