UPDATED ST. PATRICKS DAY BREAK -
St. Patrick’s Green Party Weekend: We will be having a green day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday 13th March and the children are invited to dress in green outfits.  The Nursery will be closed on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th March & NOW ALSO WEDNESDAY 18th MARCH TO ALLOW US TO USE ONE OF THE TWO EXTRA SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT DAYS ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Exploring in the garden.

We have been very busy outside, exploring all the signs of autumn arriving - walking on the crunchy leaves, using the magnifiers to look at the different colours, shapes & sized leaves falling from the trees.  We have been cutting the grass, gathering the autumn leaves and creating delicious dishes in the mud station.  

We have also been very busy exploring in the bug area.  Do you have a few pots or dried out logs in the garden where you could create your own mini bug area?  

We love to see what you get up to at home - so if out for a lovely autumn walk or finding bugs in the garden take a photo & send them to conventofmercyns@outlook.com & we can share your adventures with your friends on the website!
