Activities for week beginning 25th January 2021

This is a busy week boys & girls as we take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch.  We have a few videos of how to make different bird feeders to attract the birds to your garden.

This week we are going to look at the artist Wassily Kandinsky - he was a Russian-born French Expressionist painter. One of his most recognizable pieces of artwork is his color study Farbstudie Quadrate (also known as Squares with Concentric Circles/Rings).  We love making this picture as we can use lots of circles - you could use kitchen roll tubes, different sized yoghurt pots or different circular objects you can find around the house.  If you don want to print you could layer paper circles on top of each other.
